    Thank you for posting this route, it was good to see that there were alternatives to just attacking Pumlumon Fawr from the west side.
    We walked up the way you came down to the summit but then trekked across the top of the mountain to its second main top to the east. We thought about descending a different way but in the end simply contoured our way down the mountainside following a sheep trail until we reached the mine site again.
    Pumlumon is a lovely mountain and I would recommend anyone to do it in good weather. We could see Cardigan Bay to the west, the Breacons to the south and Cadir Idris clearly to the north, and a big blanket of cloud towards England to the east.
